Germination
Sow directly in Mar-Jun for flowers the same year or in Sep. for flowers the following year. Sow 6mm deep into prepared soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Germination takes 10-14 days approx. Thin seedlings to a final spacing of 15cm. Keep weed free. Sept-Oct sowings will require cloche protection.
Growing
Prefers a poor to moderately fertile, slightly acid soil which is well-drained in full or partial sun.
Cultivation
Deadhead regularly to extend the flowering window.
