Germination
Sow indoors in spring or autumn. Surface sow onto moist, well-drained seed compost. Just cover seed with a sprinkling of soil. Ideal temp. 15-20°C. Light is needed for germination. Keep moist but not wet. Germination takes 10-30 days approx. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle to 8cm pots and grow on. Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed.
Growing
Prefers any ordinary soil in full or partial sun. Protect from wet winter conditions.
Cultivation
Deadhead regularly. Propagate by basal cuttings or division.
