Germination

Sow indoors Feb-Apr. Sow 5mm deep into moist well-drained seed compost. Propagate or seal in a polythene bag. Ideal temp. 15-20°C. Keep moist. Germination takes 2-4 weeks approx. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle to 8cm pots and grow on. Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed.

Growing

Prefers a fertile well-drained soil in full sun. Feed and water regularly until established.

Cultivation

Deadhead to prolong the flowering window. Cut back after flowering.
