Germination
Sow directly in spring or autumn. Surface sow with 15cm spacing in all directions. Spring sown seeds will germinate in 7-14 days. Autumn sowings will germinate the following spring. Can be started indoors in moist well-drained seed compost where germination can take 4-5 days. When seedlings are large enough to handle acclimatise and plant out with 15cm spacing.
Growing
Can grow in any soil but prefers a light well-drained soil in full sun. It can not grow in the shade.
Cultivation
Will self slow freely. Deadhead if you do not wish this to happen. Pick flowers when in full bloom and a dry day, ideally in the morning. Dry the flowers somewhere dark and warm, approx. 4 days. Then store in an airtight jar.
