Sow at any time of year if the plant is to be kept indoors. Sow indoors in spring to plant out in summer or sow autumn to overwinter for next year. Sow directly after danger of frost has passed. Surface sow onto soil and lightly press in, do not cover. Germination takes 14 days approx. Once seedlings develop 2 true leaves thin to 30cm spacing.
