Germination
Best sown directly where it is to flower as it does not like to be disturbed. Sow into a clean, weed free, seed bed. Prefers full sun and a well-drained soil. Will not germinate if planted amongst grass. Can be sown indoors in autumn for flowering the following year, must be over wintered in a green house and carefully transplanted in spring, or sow directly in spring for flowering the same summer.
Growing
Easy to grow. Will flower in the first year from seed. A perennial which can be treated as an annual, biennial.
Cultivation
Cut and come again variety. Cut flowers regularly to encourage growth and to prolong flowering window. Deadhead if you do not want it to self-seed.
