Germination
Sow indoors at any time. Surface sow onto moist, well-drained seed compost. Just cover seed with a sprinkling of soil. Place somewhere bright and warm, ideal temp. 15-20°C. Germination takes 3-6 weeks approx. Seedlings can be planted straight out when large enough to handle after danger of frost has passed.
Growing
Prefers any ordinary, moist but well-drained soil in partial sun. Full sun will scorch the flowers. Perhaps best container planted so the plant can be moved inside in winter, otherwise can be used as summer bedding.
Cultivation
Prune back hard after flowering ceases. Propagate via cuttings in spring/summer or via seed.
