Germination

Sow indoors. Sow seeds onto moist well-drained seed compost and just cover with soil. Propagate, ideal temp. 18-21°C. Germination takes 7-14 days. When seedlings have 2 true leaves transplant to 9cm pots, still maintain 18-21°C. When the plant is 20cm tall move to a larger pot, minimum 12cm or plant with 3 plants per grow bag. Grow on under glass or acclimatise and plant out once danger of frost has passed. This is a indeterminate/ cordon tomato plant. Remove side shoots.

Growing

Easy to grow, keep soil moist, feed with a high potash plant food once fruit appears. Grow outside or in a greenhouse. Provide a support for the plant to climb on and tie in regularly to this support. In late summer remove the growing tip to encourage ripening of existing fruit.

Cultivation

Will require staking/supports. Tie with soft garden twine. Remove any sideshoots that develop between stem and leaf stems. Shake flowers to aid setting. Harvest the fruits when green, with a hint of yellow, the fruit should give a little when ripe.
