Germination
Sow under glass. Sow 6mm deep into seed compost. Propagate temp. 13-18°C. Germination takes 10-15 days. Thin when large enough to handle to 30cm spacing. Acclimatise and plant out once danger of frost has passed. Can be sown directly where they are to flower into finely prepared moist soil, in drills 6mm deep.
Growing
Prefers poor soil, if soil is too rich foliage is produced at the expense of flowers. Water regularly until established. Once established requires little attention.
