Germination
Sow immediately. Best sown directly or in a cold frame in autumn. Indoors, mix seed with a little damp vermiculite or soil, place in a freezer type bag, place somewhere warm, 18-22°C for 3 weeks then cold stratify. Move to -4-+4°C, a fridge is ideal, for 8 weeks then return to warmth for germination. Directly or cold frame sowings, surface sow onto moist, well-drained seed compost. keep moist but not wet, allow natural autumn warmth, followed by winter cold to offer ideal conditions for germination to occur the following spring as the weather warms. Indoor raised seedlings should be transplanted out as soon as possible, avoiding very cold weather.
Growing
Prefers any dry/ well-drained soil in full sun. Prefers a sheltered position. Easy to grow.

Propagate by seed or via cuttings taken in spring or summer.
