Germination

Sow directly after last expected frost. Sow onto prepared soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Rake over, covering seed with 1-5mm soil. Ideal temp. 18-22°C. Germination takes 1-4 weeks, as there is a variety of plants included expect germination to be erratic. Thin seedlings as required.

Growing

Prefers any moist, well-drained soil in full or partial sun. Easy to care for. Water during dry weather.

Cultivation

Deadhead regularly to prolong the flowering window. Many varieties included will self-seed. These plants will be cut down by frost. Pull and compost at the end of the growing season.
