Germination
Sow indoors. Press seeds, blunt end down into moist well-drained compost. Ideal temp. 24°C.Germination takes 6-10 days. When plants are 7cm tall and when risk of frost has passed, plant out in grow bags or soil, 40 cm apart and support with canes.
Growing
Easy to grow. Lush vines are resistant to drought. Water regularly and feed with a high potash liquid fertilizer.
Cultivation
Trim lateral sideshoots at +40cm. Pick fruit regularly for continuous crop. Can be treated as a perennial if you bring the main root into a shed/garage over winter.
