Germination
Sow indoors. Surface sow onto moist well-drained seed compost. Just cover with a sprinkling of soil as light is needed for germination. Ideal temp. 18-20°C. Germination takes 8-10 days approx. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle to 8cm pots. Acclimatise and plant out when danger of frost has passed with 25cm spacing.
Growing
Prefers a well-drained soil in a sheltered site in full sun or partial shade. Shade from hot sun. Can be grown in a pot under glass or as a house plant.
Cultivation
Simply pull and compost when flowering has ceased.
