Germination

Sow indoors 6-8 weeks prior to last expected frost. Surface sow onto moist, well-drained seed compost. Just cover seed with a sprinkling of soil. Ideal temp. 21-26⁰C. Germination takes 5-14 days approx. Transplant seedlings after 3 weeks into 8cm pots. Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed.

Growing

Prefers any well-drained soil in full sun. Requires little attention.

Cultivation

For cut flowers, cut when in flower but not fully open. For dried, everlasting flowers cut when fully open and hang upside down to dry.
