Germination

Sow directly from early spring-late summer. Sow seeds 15mm deep into deep drills of prepared soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Drills should be 25cm apart. Keep moist. Germination takes 10 days approx. Thin seedlings as required. Harvest as soon as the roots have reached a suitable size. Successional sow for continual supply.

Growing

Easy to grow in any situation. Keep well watered, lack of water can produce tough roots.

Cultivation

Harvest alternate roots to allow other roots to mature fully.
