Germination

Sow indoors. Sow 1mm deep into moist well-drained seed compost. Propagate 20-30°C. Germination takes 7-14 days. Do not exclude light. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle to 8cm pots. Acclimatise and plant out once danger of frost has passed with 30cm spacing. Can be sown directly in May.

Growing

Prefers full sun in a rich well-drained soil. May require staking. Easy to care for and very quick to grow.

Cultivation

Cut and come again variety. Picking flowers and deadheading will prolong flowering window and encourage lateral growth.
