Sow

Germination

Sow directly in spring or autumn. Sow 10mm deep into prepared soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Keep moist. Ideal germination temp. 20°C. Germination takes 2-3 weeks approx. Thin seedlings to a final spacing of 30cm. Spring sowing will flower the same year, autumn sowings will offer earlier flowering the following year.

Growing

Prefers a slightly acidic soil in full or partial sun. Easy to grow.

Cultivation

Harvest as a baby leaf. Successional sow for continuous harvest. Will self-seed freely.
