Germination

Sow directly Mar-July. Sow seeds thinly into finely prepared soil, 12mm deep, in rows 40cm apart. Seedlings should appear in 2-4 weeks approx. Thin to 10cm spacing for baby leaf or 30cm for mature plants. Can be sown earlier but will require cloche protection.

Growing

Keep well watered to avoid bolting and lack of flavour. Very easy to grow.

Cultivation

Ready to harvest as baby leaf 30 days from sowing, 45-70 days for mature plants.
