Germination
Sow indoors or in a greenhouse at any time. Seeds do not require pre-treatment but germination will improve with it. Prior to sowing soak seed for 24 hours. Surface sow onto moist, well-drained seed compost just cover with a sprinkling of soil. Germination takes 3-4 weeks approx. Seed can be cold stratified if desired after sowing, move to -4-+4°C, a fridge is ideal, for 3-4 weeks then remove to warmth for germination. Grow on, repotting as required. Move to final growing site when 3 years old.
Growing
Prefers any well-drained soil in full sun. Once established requires little attention.
Cultivation
Pruning is not required. Very easy to care for. Propagate by grafting.
