Germination
Sow indoors. Sow 3mm deep into moist well-drained seed compost. Propagate, ideal temp. 15-18°C. Germination takes 7-21 days. Transplant seedlings once large enough to handle to 8cm pots and grow on. Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed 25cm apart. Place September sown seeds in a cold frame to overwinter, plant out following spring. Can be sown directly in spring.
