Germination
Sow indoors. Surface sow onto moist well-drained seed compost. Cover with a sprinkling of soil. Propagate or place somewhere warm 20°C. Allow temp. to fall at night. Germination takes 15-30 days. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle to 8cm pots and grow on in cooler conditions. Acclimatise and plant out once danger of frost has passed with 60cm spacing.
Growing
Prefers fertile, well-drained soil which is low in nitrogen in partial shade. Easy to grow.
Cultivation
Remove dead foliage as desired. Divide mature clumps in spring.
