Germination
Requires a prepared soil with plenty of compost. Rake a general fertilizer in a few days before sowing. Sow directly Mar-May. Sow indoors 6-8 weeks prior to last frost. Sow seed thinly 10mm deep with 25cm spacing. Ideal temp. 15-23°C. Germination takes 7-21 days approx. Thin seedlings to 30cm spacing. Water until established.
Growing
Prefers a finely prepared, well-drained, fertile soil in full sun. Keep soil moist.
Cultivation
Will self-seed freely. Deadhead if you do not want volunteer seedlings next season.
