Germination

Sow indoors. Sow into moist well-drained seed compost. Only just cover the seed with vermiculite. Propagate at 24-27°C. Germination 14-21 days. Germination occurs in the light. Keep the soil moist but not saturated water from the bottom only. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 8cm pots. Grow on. Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed. 30cm apart.

Growing

Grow in a mass for best effect, ideal in a hanging basket. Pinch back when first planted to encourage branching. Water deeply to encourage root growth. Feed throughout summer.

Cultivation

Cut and come again variety. Cut flowers regularly to encourage growth and to prolong flowering window.
