Germination

This packet contains tiny seed, handle with care. Sow indoors at any time. Surface sow, very thinly, onto moist, well-drained seed compost which has added sand for improved drainage. Just cover the seed with a fine sprinkling of vermiculite. temp. 18-20°C approx. Water from below or use a fine mister. Germination takes 5-10 days approx. Once germinated move into sunlight(in winter) or partial shade(in summer). Do not allow to dry out. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle and grow on. Treat as a house plant.

Growing

Grow under glass in cactus compost. Prefers bright, filtered light. When in growth water moderately and feed every 2-3 weeks with a liquid feed. Keep almost dry in winter. Maximum winter temp. 10°C.

Cultivation

Propagate by seed or by cuttings of rosettes kept at 18°C and barely moist until rooted.
