Germination

Soak seeds for 30 minutes prior to sowing. Direct sow outside into light well-drained soil with all visible stones removed and that has been raked to a fine tilth. Sow in shallow drills 1.5cm deep, rows 30cm apart. Germination takes up to 24 days. When large enough to handle thin to 10cm spacing.

Growing

Do not over water, only water if soil is dry. Overwatering causes leaf growth, not bulb growth.

Cultivation

Harvest alternate plants in a row, allowing remaining plants more room to develop.
