Germination

Sow indoors. Surface sow onto moist, well-drained seed compost. Just cover seed with a fine sprinkling of soil. Ideal temp. 13-18°C. Germination takes 10-21 days approx. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle to 8cm pots and grow on. Pinch out the growing point when 5cm tall to encourage bushiness. Acclimatise and plant out when danger of frost has passed.

Growing

Prefers light, well-drained soil in full or partial sun. Will tolerate poor soils.

Cultivation

Will be cut down by frost. Pull and compost plant.
