Germination
Sow indoors or under glass. Surface sow onto moist well-drained seed compost. Cover very lightly with compost. Ideal temp. 20°C. Keep soil moist at all times but not wet. Germination can be slow and irregular. Prick out seedlings when 2 true leaves are developed into 8cm pots. Acclimatise and plant out once danger of frost has passed with 60cm spacing.
Growing
Prefers most soils in sheltered situations out of full sun. Keep moist. Requires little attention.
Cultivation
The plant will produce new plants as the base of its leaflets. When large enough these can be separated form the mother plant and grown individually.
