Germination

Sow indoors. Sow 2mm deep into moist well-drained seed compost. Ideal temp. 18-22°C. Germination takes 21-28 days but can be erratic. Once seedlings are large enough to handle transplant to 8cm pots. Acclimatise and plant out once danger of frost has passed with 50cm spacing.

Growing

Robust and drought tolerant. Requires little attention. Water when dry.

Cultivation

Deadhead spent flowers to encourage further flowering.
