Germination

Sow indoors at any time. Surface sow onto moist, well-drained seed compost. Just cover seed with a sprinkling of soil. Very small seeds should not be covered but simply pressed into the soil. Place in a propagator to maintain a constant 20°C. Germination can be a little slow and irregular, taking 1-8 weeks approx. Once germinated admit air and grow on in cooler conditions. Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed.

Growing

Prefers a well drained soil in full or partial sun. Full sun should offer strong flowering.

Cultivation

Requires little attention. May self-seed .
