Germination

Sow directly Mar-Jun. Sow 5mm deep into finely prepared, well-drained soil which has already been watered. Germination takes 4-6 days approx. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. Thin seedlings to 15cm spacing and water until established. Can be started early indoors if required. Successional sow every 2-3 weeks for continuous colour.

Growing

One of the fastest growing annuals. Prefers any well-drained soil in full sun. Requires little attention.

Cultivation

Will self-seed freely. Cut back after flowering.
