Germination
Sow directly in late spring after last expected frost. Sow into a prepared seedbed which has been raked to a fine tilth. Broadcast sow onto the surface of the soil. Just cover seed with a sprinkling of soil. Water gently ensuring you do not wash the seed away. Ideal temp. 16-21°C. Germination takes 2-4 weeks approx. Thin as required.
Growing
Prefers any moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full or partial sun. Protect from excessive winter wet.
Cultivation
Remove dead foliage and spent flower stems in spring. Propagate by seed or by division in mid spring.
