Germination

Sow in a greenhouse in spring-summer. Surface sow onto moist, well-drained seed compost. Just cover seed with a sprinkling of soil. Place in a propagator. Ideal temp. 15-20°C. Germination takes 1-6 months approx. Transplant seedlings in small clumps to individual trays or pots and grow on. Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed.

Growing

Prefers any fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Easy to care for.

Cultivation

Remove dead foliage and spent flower stems as required. Propagate by division in spring.
