Germination
Sow directly or in a greenhouse after the last frost in spring. Surface sow onto prepared soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Just cover with a little soil. Ideal temp. 20°C. Germination should occur in 4 weeks approx. May flower in the first year or may not emerge until the following spring as the weather warms. Thin if required.
Growing
Will grow in almost any soil, from heavy clay to dry sand. Prefers full sun. Easy to grow.
Cultivation
Propagate by division in spring. Requires little attention. Cut back to the ground in late winter or early spring.
