Germination
Sow indoors. Surface sow onto moist well-drained seed compost. Lightly press seeds into soil but do not cover. Ideal temp. 13-18°C. Germination takes 15-20 days. Transplant seedlings once large enough to handle to 8cm pots and grow on. Acclimatise and plant out once danger of frost has passed with 90cm spacing. Can be sown directly where they are to flower from Mar-May.
Growing
Prefers partial shade in any well-drained soil. Keep moist but do not over water. Tall plants may require staking.
Cultivation
Self sows freely, deadhead if you do not want volunteer seedlings next year.
