Germination
Sow directly. Prior to sowing prepare site. In summer cut or graze hard to create gaps of 50% bare soil. Rake if needed. Try to remove perennial weeds such as docks or thistles. Mix seed with a little sand and broadcast sow. Germination takes 2 weeks approx. Can sometimes be a little slow to germinate.
Growing
Easy to grow. Prefers a moist, humus-rich soil in partial sun. Will tolerate full sun. Will tolerate a dry soil. Dislikes very acid soils.
Cultivation
No pruning required. The plant will spread via runners and may eventually become invasive.
