Germination
Sow directly where it is to flower. Surface sow onto prepared soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Just cover seed with a sprinkling of soil. Ideal temp. 17-20°C. Germination takes 30-60 days approx. If germination does not occur allow seed to remain over winter, where natural winter cold should offer ideal conditions for germination to occur the following spring. Thin seedlings as required.
Growing
Prefers any moist, well-drained soil in a sheltered position in full to partial sun.
Cultivation
Will self-seed freely. After flowering can be cut back to encourage fresh foliage.
