Germination
Sow directly. Sow 1mm deep in short drills into rows spaced 30cm apart. Ideal temp. 10-14°C. Germination takes 14-28 days. When seedlings are large enough to handle thin to 15cm spacing.
Growing
Prefers a very dry soil. Requires little attention.
Cultivation
Deadhead spent flowers to encourage further blooms. Allow some flowers to set seed if desired. Pull and compost spent plants in autumn.
