Germination
Sow indoors into moist well-drained seed compost. Just cover with soil and keep moist. Propagate with gentle heat. Germination takes 7-40 days. Transplant seedlings once large enough to handle to 8cm pots. Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed with 30cm spacing. Place September sown seeds in a cold frame to overwinter, plant out following spring. Can be sown directly in spring.
Growing
Easy to grow, water regularly but do not overwater.
Cultivation
Deadhead regularly. Divide and replant every 2-3 years to maintain growth.
