Germination
Sow directly in Mar-Jun for flowers the same year or in Sep. for flowers the following year. Sow 6mm deep into prepared soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Germination takes 10-14 days approx. Thin seedlings to a final spacing of 15cm. Keep weed free. Sept.- Oct sowings will require cloche protection.
Growing
This selection of plants can tolerate a more shaded area of the garden although will also thrive in full or partial sun. Will tolerate most soils, even poor soils. Ensure soil is moist but well-drained.
Cultivation
Deadhead regularly to extend the flowering window.
