Germination
Can be sown indoors at any time of year or sown directly in spring. Indoors sow into moist well-drained seed compost. Place on a warm windowsill and keep moist but not wet. Germination should be rapid. Can be sown directly. Sow into an enclosed paddock area where the tortoise can roam in summer months. Successional sow for continuous supply.
Growing
Easy to grow. Feed indoor grown plants to your tortoise when 4-10cm tall. Outdoor grown plants can be eaten, as desired by your tortoise throughout the summer.
