Germination
Sow in a greenhouse in early spring. Sow directly in mid-late spring. Sow 6mm deep into moist, well-drained seed compost. Ideal temp. 15-18°C. Germination takes 2-3 weeks approx. Transplant seedlings in small clumps to individual trays or pots and grow on. Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed. Can be sown directly in mid-late spring.
Growing
Prefers a light, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Requires little attention but will appreciate a watering in very dry weather.
