Germination

Best to sow directly. Sow directly after danger of frost has passed. Sow directly into prepared soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Sow thinly, just cover the seed with a little soil, keep soil moist until plants are established. Can be started indoors prior to last expected frost if desired. Sow into a seed tray, just cover seed with a little soil. Keep moist. Ideal temp. 21°C. Germination takes 1-2 weeks. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle to individual pots and grown on under glass. Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed.

Growing

Easy to grow, water regularly but do not overwater.

Cultivation

Pinch out tips for a bushier plant. Deadhead regularly. May require staking.
