Sow indoors 6-8 weeks prior to last expected frost. Prior to sowing soak seeds overnight in warm water. If seeds do not swell scarification may be helpful. Sow 12mm deep into moist well-drained seed compost. Ideal temp. 15-21°C. Germination takes 2-4 weeks approx. Transplant seedlings outside when danger of frost has passed with a 45cm spacing.
Growing
Prefers any ordinary garden soil in full or partial sun. Water during dry spells.
